RRP+ is a Rwandan civil society organization whose members and beneficiaries are People infected and affected by HIV. It was founded in March 2003 to serve as coordinating organ for activities supporting people infected and affected by HIV as well as to promote Greater Involvement of PLHIV in the national HIV response.

RRP+ is seeking highly motivated candidates to fill current vacant posts:

1.      Job title: Director of Administration and Finance (1 Post).


Under the direct supervision of the Executive Secretary of RRP+, the Director of Administration and Finance will be responsible of the following main duties:

  • Coordinate, supervise and monitor all activities of the Administration and Financial Unit;
  • Participate in the preparation of action plans and annual budget of the RRP+ and monitor their implementation;
  • Propose policies and implement decisions on Financial matters ;
  • Establish a system for technical and financial monitoring to identify and solve problems
  • Formulate and submit to Executive Secretary the requests to partners for funds disbursement or demand;
  • Monitoring the implementation of budgets of various programs
  • Develop annual procurement plan, elaborate contract according to Rwandan Procurement Law and Monitoring the implementation;
  • Accounting supervision;
  • Monitor the external audit and implement its recommendations;
  • Conduct and analyze Internal audit and report to Executive Secretary and ensure the implementation of the recommendations;
  • Ensure financial and administrative coordination between the RRP+ and various partners;
  • Establish a system of supervision of staff performance;
  • Ensure staff management (discipline, time, performance appraisal, …)
  • Development of policies for staff training and development;
  • Planning for training and seminars for staff to be submitted to the Executive Secretary for approval;
  • Monitor the management of staff paid from different funds;
  • Ensure the implementation of procedures manual
  • Supervise the patrimonial management ;
  • Manage various agreements between the RRP+ and various partners

Skills and required qualifications:

  • Hold at least a bachelor’s Degree (A0) in Accounting or Finance;
  • Possess a professional experience of 3 years at least in Accounting, Finance and the financial position
  • Have a working experience either with Civil Society, government, development partners or projects and programs;
  • Be familiar with the financial and budgetary management softwares, the knowledge of TOMPRO shall constitute an advantage;
  • Have strong verbal and written communication skills in Kinyarwanda, English and French;
  • Computer literate with proficient knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Power Point;
  • Be of proven moral integrity;
  • Available immediately.
